FAO: Our Media Friends!
Dear Friends,
Hello,
I am writing to tell you that our two former trustees ( Mr Shah & Mr Marghoob ) firstly started ''blame game'' against the hard working members of the BEHAF team, but recently they were badly defeated - details are available on request......
Now they have started ''media war'' by sending misleading and deceptive e-mails, about the duly elected Chairperson and the founder CEO & Media Spokesperson, to our media friends. The disgraced fellows now have to pay the price for their mischief, misconduct, and misleading attitude. It is very unfortunate that they are going to face legal actions, libel and defamation cases in coming months and years!!
As the matter is taken up by our regulators - The Charity Commission - and legal action has started, I would suggest you all not to get involved in their ''character assasination'' campaign. Thank you.
I will keep you updated as I ever did. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further information, take care.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Syed Nayyar Abidi Chief Executive & Media Spokesperson British Ethnic Health Awareness Foundation

Public Warning & Notice of Detachment!
Dear BEHAF Supporters,
Hello,
It is my great pleasure to inform you that by virtue of a recent letter received from the Commission`s senior official, I have been accepted as duly elected chairperson of BEHAF for the year 2006 / 07.
Please note Mr Masood H Shah & Dr M A Marghoob have lawfully been removed as BEHAF trustees & BEHAF will not be held responsible for their any wrong-doings or mis-representation.
Recently, two new trustees have been appointed to fill in the vacant positions.
The ''self-appointed chairs'', Mr Shah & Mr Marghoob who melaciously attempted to spoil all the hard work done by BEHAF over the past more than three years, has repeatedly been warned of his illegal / immoral activities, and his misconduct, mismanagement and misleading attitude is under investigation by the Charity Commission & and their employers, Barclays Bank Ltd & Pennine Acute NHS Trust.
The disgraced fellow now has to pay the price for his mischief, misconduct, and misleading attitude. They are going to face legal action, libel and defamation cases in coming months and years!!
Few facts about Mr Shah & Mr Marghoob:
A: They failed to execute his duties as trustee due to his extreme lack of interest as he did not attend any meeting during the last 12 months. He also failed to point out any potential conflict of interest over the past three years and three months; ( copies of meeting minutes, e-mails and official letters are available on request )
B: They were lawfully removed from the trusteeship of the charity; in retaliation, they acted as self-appointed chairs of the charity, and called upon illegal meetings at their residences and misguided the BEHAF board members and supporters;
C: They wrongly accused a fellow trustee and a member of management board of so-called financial irregularities, and threatened the closure of the trust; while all record showed there is no such irregularity at all, but in fact Dr Syed Abidi ( founding CEO & Media Spokesperson of the trust ) is currently working against all the odds, without a salary, and Dr Abidi earned high profile recognition / good repute due to his persistent hard work, dedication and commitment towards BEHAF. Dr Abidi reserves all rights to file a libel / defamation cases against Mr Shah & Mr Marghoob.
D: They acted in such an un-professional way that brought bad repute to the charity, and acted against the interests of the trust, detrimental to the cause of the trust.
I hereby reserve the right to file a libel case against them on the basis of their baseless allegations.
We are grateful to all those who have provided us moral support throughout this difficult period. Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs S S Mehdi
